New Muzzleloader soon

Looking to buy a new muzzleloader for whitetails. Shooting 120yds at the absolute most. Kinda wanted a 45 (dont really know y) but what would you guys buy.

Another CVA Accura .50cal with camo thumbhole and SS barrel. I love my Accura. They have one of the sweetest triggers you can get right from a factory built muzzleloader.

She shoots Purdy too:

A Triumph, it is a combination of the most accurate, easiest to clean and maintain with one of the best trigger pulls out of the box. There are a lot of other good guns out there and some cheaper ones if that's what you are looking for there are some more expensive by a lot to but none better in a strait muzzle loader. Lee

You don't have to expect much accuracy out of a 120 yard rifle, but it's always good to have a nice-shooting gun anyways, eh? Thompson/Center's my favorite ML brand, be it the Hawken or the Omega. And I could sure go for one of those shiney new Triumphs!

A lot of it depends on how much you want to spend, how many days a year you think you will shoot it, and what appeals to you. But if I wanted a new rifle and it was going to be a one and only, I might look at the Accura, or the Triumph if inlines interested me. If traditional were my thing, then it would be a .54 caliber T/C Renegade or Hawkins.

Two different people told me that the T/C barrels are better then the Bergara barrels( I'm sure just opinions) so i will vote for the Triumph. If you choose a 45 i would with out doubt buy a Knight Disc Elite 45.

not what mike bellm has to say. How many bergaras have we seen on here that had to be sent back for being bent? Or the barrel cracks when being shot

Dont really know. These two guys own multiple barrels for there Encores. The one guy said shillen left overs become Bergara barrels. But did note know safety issues at all.

About what? T/C barrels are better or Shillen blanks? I'm actually wondering where Green Mountain is in all of this?
