Default Deer Season Starts Tomorrow!

Well, our Deer Season starts tomorrow. Its sposed to be in the high 80s....great. I have scouted the deer between 7000 & 8000 feet but thats when it was in the 70s. Since they are mostly migratory deer, I may have to go up in elevation. I have several areas scouted. Its not a ML hunt so I am bringing my 30.06 for the long range field I have scouted. Max shot is 300yds or so. I also have two thick areas scouted. 150 yds max for those so I will use my T/C Omega for those areas. If I get a deer with my ML, it will be my first kill with a ML. Wish me luck.

Good fortune on your hunt!

Question: Do you have to sight in your -06 at 8000feet to keep it on target, or can you sight in at lower elevation and be "Close Enough" ??
