Got another one

Well I didn't get the spotted boar I was after. I decided to let one of my Marines go hunting with me and to increase his chances of success, I let him hunt my hog spot. I decided to try and get a buck but had no luck. He didn't have any luck either. But I did have this fella come out as we were getting ready to leave.

He was about 100 pounds and he bang-flopped. I took out both shoulders with my usual load out of my T/C Endeavor.

Are you donating any of the meat? I love taking meat to local families to help them out. Of course i feed my friends first. Congratulations on another fine harvest.

Nope. I would but there isn't a processor around here that does hogs and there isn't a high demand for wild hog meat. We have a couple of fellas that are authorized to shoot deer at night over on the Air Station. It helps to prevent deer-aircraft collisions by reducing their numbers. They take all the deer they kill to the processor and she donates it to homeless shelters. But she won't accept hogs. Hell, she won't even mount a hog.

I just give the meat to friends or take it to work and have a BBQ. We try to BBQ evey week. I always keep the tenderloins for myself though... :s2:

Yup. But I'm at the point now where I want to test a few other bullets.
