right NOW i'm not liking it....I'm trying to get my gun ready for ML season. It's only about 1 1/2 months away. And with work and all..its hard to get to the range...if it would only stop for about 2 hours I'd be good.

I AM swabbing in between EVERY shot..1 wet....1 dry---DrAsus

if I remember correctly last time I was at the range (granted I was playing around with different pellet loads and different bullet brands) I had it dead center but about 2 inches HIGH...which is what I wanted given I wanted to shoot longer distances. I got to thinking that 150yard sight in would be the perfect sight in for me as that will be my most common shot. I'm still gonna see how she is at 100 yrds after I get her sighted in a 150yrds...just so I know what my gun does. Same for 200 yards. 200 yrds will probably be my max shot distance where I hunt. Sabotloader...do the ANTI-rain dance for me so I can get this thing done with---DrAsus

Sabot----do u think my gun likes only 100gr pellets?? That would definitely bring it down without ANY scope adjusments--correct???

DrAsus

That would definitely bring the POI down but for that bullet to work correctly especially at the ranges you are talking - you are going to need the velocity to get the energy...

Going down to 100 grains of pellets would be like shooting 85 grains of BP - good for a 100 yards in a sidelock but I am not thinking I would shoot much over a 100 with that load...
