what a surprize (update)

Went out for a walk with the dogs yesterday and swapped the cards on the cuddeback and what to my wondering eyes should appear.

Could not believe it, haven't seen deer like that around here for a long time.
Kinda lifts the spirits a little. I went home, grabbed the bow and started flinging some arrows. :kt:

Ps. The time isn't right on the camera

More pictures, even in the daytime !!

This one lost his velvet allready !!!!

You could box it up and send out here in to the west where we are short of whitetail in many places...

Here too. Anything close to that steps out in front of me and I'll ventilate his ribcage with a 300gr EMZ without a second thought. :fighting0007:

Semisane 08-20-2009 05:18 PM

I don't like seeing deer like that because I have to keep changing my shorts.

I would trade you a couple whitetails for some Elk but not these two.
As much hunting pressure they get in this area I am really surprised to see these, but I quess they don't get big by being careless, Except in the rut then all caution goes to the wind. I woul not be surprised to see one of these geting hit by a car come late Octoer, early November.
I am just glad to get the pictures.

I also had pixes like that last year. The only problem was I never saw them during the season. I can hope that they are still around and I will have my chance.

I just hope you have better luck my friend! ;)

deer655 08-22-2009 05:19 PM

I'd be happy with either of em

hunting junkie 08-23-2009 05:17 AM

Never had any pictures like this, I hope I don't screw up a good chance at a wallhanger. :busted:
