Shock Wave B.C.
Does anyone know what the B.C. for the 200 grain shockwave bullet is. I know the advertised B.C. of the 250 grain is .240, but I cant find anything on the 200 grain.

.265 so they say.

A BC of .210-.220 would be a better number for that bullet. Hornady lists it at .265.

By shooting them through my Chrony at set ranges out to 100 yds I came up with the ones I use you need to understand that it will vary with the elevation the humidity also has a small effect.
SW 250 is .199 SW 200 is .26 250 Gold Dot is .153 200gr XTP is.240 I hope this helps. Lee |
Thanks I just wanted something to use as a starting point when Im figuring up trajectory, energy and such.

I've shot that bullet out to 400 yards, and if I recall I have to use 0.21 to get the projections to match the actual.
Published BCs for ALL ML bullets I have shot are way high. MTA: I'd have to run my drop chart back through the calculator, but the BC I used may have been as low as 0.2. |
