TC breach plug removal
Where can I get a tool to remove the breach plug for a 50 cal Encore?

Out of your tool box ,use a ratchet with an extension [the long one] and a standard socket.

Or you could try TC's website. I'm sure they sell the tool you need on there.

If you want the factory tool TC will gladly send it to you, but the best best is as Lee suggested. A 7/16's socket, I prefer a deep socket a long extension, and a reversible ratchet... such as this... ![]() |
The breech plug removal tool that TC sells is pretty flimsy. Mine broke and i went to the 1/4" drive 7/16" deep well socket.

Me to. I use a 1/4" drive ratchet, 10" extension bar, 7/16" socket for my Omega and 1/2" socket for the Mustang. I even had a 1/2" nut welded on the end of the Mustang's stock bolt (right on top of the flat screwdriver slot) so I can remove the stock with the same socket I use for the breech plug.
