If possible! stay away from any kind of powerbelt offering. Like Underclocked once said - "you can shoot paint balls faster than you can a powerbelt".

Really PB's are kinda OK if forced to shoot a conical - but even then there far better conicals on the market.

avatar pic shows the performance of the 348 that i suggested he use. Hell the dime size 3 shot group target makes it look even better.

Very nice looking bullet, but why would you shoot a 348 at a whitetail, and at what velocity? There are better bullets - sorry...

100gr RS.

Why use a 348 on a whitetail? Same reason people use a 460gn Bullshop. It puts them down right then and there.

Got me there I use the 460 for both Elk and deer when forced to during our ML season, but other than that it is a waste of lead.

Hornady Great Plains Bullet easier to load and out of 12 deer shot only one ever took another step forward. Not bullets fault but my bad shooting hit her in the liver, rear lung area she only went 20-25 yards and blood trail was like it was paint brushed every where. Givum a try you might likem.

The Bull Shops or No Excuse conicals are slip fit - no short starter necessary - just start it with your thumb and push it down with the ram rod.
