I've been using the standard black sabot that comes with the 250 SW's. It is a snug fit and has shot well.

Thanks, I couldn't even get the black ones down the barrel.

Do you know about the Havester 50/40 Crush Rib ? I had to use it to be able to shoot 50/40 before I lapped the barrel in the Triumph out to .500. I have a buch of the and could slip a half doz in an envelope and send them to you so you could try them with out buying a bunch. If you want me to PM me with your sddress. Lee

I do know about the crushribs. I still wouldn't mind trying them, but they load much better now that I'm using BH. I'll PM you my address. I really appreciate it.

Just to let you know and I do not know what it might be worth, but when I first got my Triumph - it was pretty tough to load anything in it - including the crush ribs. I shot a 2 or 3 range trips and became more disappointed with it. Then one evening after shooting I decided to polish the bore with JB's bore paste. I ran 100 strokes, switching oiled and paste patches every 25 stokes.

Well something worked - I can now load anything i want with normal sabots. I use the Blue MMP's with 40 cal, the HPH-24 with .452 and even the Orange MMP's with .458 bullets. It is night and day 'dream' different now.

Oh! and it shoots great... but I am still shooting T7.
