Out to try out the trigger work on the Endeavor; start with some other tweaking soon.Tried out some bullets I had not shot before and switched sabots on the Lehigh, souped up the load on the FTX to where I am sure they will open. Weather was beautiful if a bit breezy. All in all I am satisfied and had a lot of fun. Lee

WOW Outstanding Shooting right there , No more to add to that BUT AWESOME Lee !

If you guys keep posting targets like that I'm going to have to quit this forum out of embarrasment. I can't match that! Great shooting Lee.

Semisane, actually the Triumph will do better but there are certain things like the recoil damping and the easily tuned up trigger that I like. I have a feeling that the FTX is going to see some use, grouping with 140 gr of BH and going 2336 average FPS it should be a good load for knock down targets out to 250 yds. Lee

That's awesome shooting with all bullets. WOW

I would not suggest the FTX at 250yards. It's going to slow down way to much to perform as stated.

Awesome! You really got that Endeavor working for ya!

The only thing I shoot at that distance is metal Knock downs and targets. I shoot gongs at long distance for fun. Lee

You and Sabotloader like shooting stones at 200yards. No paper....are you guys thinking Green?

Green - Shmeen. It's much more humane to shoot paper. Only someone who was around during the pet rock craze can truly understand how docile and defenseless those free ranging stones are. Sure, some of them can be a little rough around the edges. Sure, some of them may attack the soles of your boots or even nip at bare feet, but they only do that in self defense. They're basically harmless and will all smooth out after a millennium or two. Shooting them unnecessarily is just cruel. Please visit the PETS website (PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF STONES) and learn more about our friends on the ground.

Napping a flint is just plain torture. ;)

I think it has to do with seeing instant results, shooting at 250 yds at a 6 inch gong you can hear the smack and ring after the shotand see it swingwith the scope [I can barely see it with out the scope] and sitting there trying to hide the smile when I consistantly hit it and some of the high power rifle guys miss it, well after I won a couple times the range captain bar muzzle loaders from the rifle shoot.

Torture can be useful ...... "We have ways to make you spark."

 File a complaint under the American's With Disabilities Act on the basis that muzzle loading addiction is a handicapping condition.

Semisane,
well you can not do that and still belong to the organization. They claim its the smoke but it never seemed to bother them till they got beat. It won't do them much good any way I have a 223 varmint rifle that I play with by putting a drop of honey on a little glued on shelf on the target so I can attract flies to splatter. The shooting is over this summer but I shall introduce them to the fly swatter next summer. Lee
