Have you tried any thing beside the Power Belts? That would be the first thing I would do. Second ly the recoil is rasing the barrel of your gun before the bullet is completely out perhaps a bit more powder would get the bullet out before the recoil had full effect and solve your problem. Lee

Tried to shim it but the screw wasn't quite long enough to catch more than a few threads. Ended up stripping the screw. Can't find that screw anywhere around here. I'll have to order one. Decided to go fishing to forget about the muzzleloader and my trolling motor died in the middle of the lake. There goes another 300 bucks. Can't catch a break this weekend.

This may sound crazy but I had the same trouble with a 45 cal Green Mtn barrel. And increasing the charge by 10 grs. brought the POI down.
Shimming the rear sight will make you shoot even higher. If shooting a bit more powder doesn't work, I suggest getting a higher sight. RMC has a pretty good selection of front sights. Or you can go through Williams Sight Co.

A shim to raise the front sight will work, just need to find the right thickness. Shimming the rear sight will give the opposite result, it will raise your POI even more.

Put another scope on it.
