Good Price on TC Cherokee?
I've been putting out feelers for a TC Cherokee or Senaca in .32 or .36 caliber. Just received the following e-mail.
I've got a nice .32 Cherokee. It has both the factory open sights and the T/C Hunter Peep Sight with a couple of different aperatures. It is amazingly accurate with both patched round balls and conical bullets. I have target shot with it out to 300 yards. (a heck of a drop!!!) I hunted mostly rabbits and squirrels with it. It is very tastefully tacked with brass tacks. $400 shipped. |

anythin in that caliber no matter brand on the Gun Broker, auction arms isee is going $500+, tacked or not you can get your investment back if it shoots as he says at 300 yards (

Some of them go upwards of 600 but I think those must be in unfired condition. His tacks might look decent but they surely hurt the value of the rifle. Sweet little guns, wish I had bought a couple way back when.

Both are very hard to find and normally command a good price. Check the stocks close on them as they are weakest part of the rifle. As for people that tack their rifles, it might look nice at a Rendezvous but I never cared for the look.
