My CVA Wolf also shoots the 245 grain Powerbelts super-accurately (the 250 grain Shockwave is actually even more accurate but is much more difficult to load) with a 100 grain charge of Pyrodex RS.

I am 2 for 2 with the 295 grain Hollow Point Powerbelt, pushed with 80 grains of 777 loose powder, out of my Wolf. Last year, (my first year hunting with a ML) 50 yard shot at a doe, she dropped in her tracks, and just last week, about a 40 yard shot at a doe, and she only ran about 25 yards, and was done. The main thing with the Powerbelts is, dont push them too hard, 70 to 80 grains of powder will do the job nicely.

I wouldn't be surprised if you find those PowerBelts to be the most accurate and easy loading in your CVA Wolf. I had a similar model by CVA and that's what I found out. I'd also agree with the load of under 100 gr. 80-90 ought to be great out to 100 yds.

look for my recent post "245 gr powebelt question", I just posted pics of the entry, damage, and mushroom from a doe I took sunday. Wasnt a long shot by any means but after skinning the doe, was impressed with the stopping power. This was with 2 50 gr pyrodex pellets.
