Are your rifles scoped? I know that not the topic here but I was just wondering.
Yes, all of the inlines are scoped, as I hunt with a inline ML during regular rifle season here in Idaho. Can not remember the last time I shot a centerfire, even peeper hunting I am using a rimfire. All of my traditionals are "iron sights"

sabotloader: Thanks for the detailed report !

I gottatrythose Lehigh .452 250's. Have tried the 250 Gold Dots... nothing to get excited about with respect to accuracy. Maybe the longer bullet with the cannur rings will tighten the groups. I have some Harvester long black sabotsto try them with.

I love the 250 GD and the accuracy is very good for hunting if you drive them hard, but I do really think there are some real advantages to these 250 Lehigh's. I know I can not shoot them (the 250 GD's) to 200 without making a reticule adjustment... so it appears to me that these 250 Lehighs are shooting flatter.

From the pictures I seen, where a guy was shooting hogs with them - they look very effective on game also.... I will know for sure this hunting season.

They are shooting flatter Sabotloader. Take a look at your own pictures. Lehigh Muzzleloader bullets look like bullets. Dont get fooled by the BC either. Lehigh BC'S arent over inflated like other bullet companies. I have run the numbers myself thru two chrono's and several kinds of bullets. I have not seen anyone post more accurate BC'S then Lehigh to date. All your thoughts are right on track.
