Muzzleloader Value ???

If I am posting this in the wrong place I appologize. I am debating on selling a .50cal Traditions Hawkin on a garage sale this weekend. I have no clue what it is worth as it was given to me 10 years ago. Any help would be appreciated.

Well if it is in good shape it could bring some pretty good money, but a garage sale is a ruff place to sell a gun. People are there looking for bargains and they are going to offer you next to nothing for it.

I bought a Traditions Woodsman Hawkin new many years ago for $169.00 but now the gun lists for close to $400.00 so what's it worth? Well that would depend on how bad I wanted to sell it. You are going to have to make the same decision. How bad you want to sell it. If you listed it in some of the classifieds you might get what you want out of it. You're not going to get $300.00 as a asNIB T/C Hawkin is selling for $325.00 right now. I have seen them go for $225.00 on gunbroker.. but only you know what it is really worth.

Post a pic or two, I am looking for a decent pre owned Hawken and I will give you what its worth. I planned on getting the T/C Hawken that cayugad mentioned but if I could get a better deal on a pre owned one GREAT.And help you out as well by not getting burned. Have you shot it? Do you know much about BP rifles?
