Ssharpshooter barrel and scope is on the way.

Green Mountain called and said the sharpshooter barrels are ready. Mine is on the way. They will not sell it without the scope though, which is to bad. It is a 1:24 twist. The heaviest 50 cal conicals I have are around 385 gr. I only have 3 kinds to experiment with. I need to find some different conicals . If anyone knows of a good heavy conical let me know. I have Maxi ball, maxi hunter and great plains bullets is all. I was thinking of trying something in the 450gr range. What do you guys think?

Years ago, T/C offered 50 cal Maxi Balls in 460 gr. Maybe you can find some, or a mold?

I think I'm jealous too. Looks like you're gonna need some 460 grain Bullshops.

That's what I was thinking . If anybody has any for sale let me know. I will have to wait a while to get any from Dan.. I think the Bullshops will probably shoot good. I though about parkers also, but have never tried them in anything.

Whoooeeee - I've been eyeing them up for quite some time myself. Be sure to let us know how it shoots. My concern is the field of view with that long, skinny scope. Let me know how that is. Congrats.
