Omega scope mounts?

I have a tc omega thumb hole stock and need to know what size mounts everybody is useing. I'm putting a nikon prostaff 3x9 on it ,should I get the low or medium mounts? Do you get enough clearance with the low mounts? Thanks

I have an omega with a 3x9x40 nikon pro staff. I used medium mounts and had to remove the rear sights. I didn't try low ones but with the butler creek scope caps on mine there isn't a lot of room between the bell and barrel. If you're going to use caps you better go with the mediums.

What omegasmokesays is accurate, and it would be good to consider the clearance in case you have large fingers and don't use a side insert capper 100% of the time. I ended up with high rings on mine to get the clearance I needed to be comfortable with it. Lee

I put the mediums on mine and they work great. I cant see the sights that I left on. Plenty of room to get my thumb on the hammer.
