I agree with Chaps assessment. They're definitely going to have to adjust their pricing if they expect their product to catch on.

That's mostly what i used with them. The Tan MMP'S are pretty good as well. What kind of 45cal Muzzleloader are you using?
Using a CVA Accura. Have not had a chance to shoot it that much yet. Was using 195gr Barnes MZs. Recentlypicked upthe 10mm 200gr XTPs but have not shot them. I will next time I get a chance to shoot along with the Lehighs.

For myself I totally agree, but would you not think that IF the bullets catch on and full production runs begin that pricing has a chance of coming down... the old addage the more you make the less expensive it becomes.

You thought is exactly why i do not shoot BH-209, why pay $30 for 10 onces and why do they charge that much when you compare that to any other smokeless - progressive burning powder that Western distributes.

Even apply that to the cost of SST/SW's, Noslers, and Barnes bullets - you pay for Barnes because they work for you, I pay the remium for Noslers because they work for me. Somebody is going to pay the price for Lehighs because they work for them. I for one would not think of plinking. shooting paper, clay pigeons with them I prefer to use the less expensive and shoot simular speer offereings.

I have not even done a comparison of premium bullets at this point but I will offer this my favorite bullet cost to me is @ least $50 for a box of 50 .458/300 Nosler Partition Protected Points (todays pricing). What would be the cost of a simular package of premium Barnes @ the same size?

Great points as usual sabotloader! I pay the premium for BH209 because it's the best powder out there. And it has been proven. Maybe some day when Lehigh bullets prove themselves I'll be able to justify the price.

Certainly can not argue that statement because I to really believe it, but for T7 does everything that BH does.... as i am one of the forunate that does not fight the 'crud ring' problem nor have any worry about corrosion at least anymore than I would have with any bore that has been shot.

And the obvious - it cost a bunch less allowing me to shoot a whole buch more...

Sabotloader, Since your camera works really well. I'm going to send you a 200grn Lehigh bullet with a new ballistic point in it. They look great and iplan on testing them this weekend. I will also send one of the 250grn with no Boattail on it.

10-4 I will be waiting... Make sure you post those 10 mil results - i think I might have big plans for that particular bullet... I want to introduce it to Mr. Whitetail this season, provided it survives my torture test...
