New jersey laws
Does anyone know if you can send a muzzleloader direct to someone in New Jersey or does it have to go through a licensed dealer?

RE: New jersey laws
Living in NJ... I can't legally buy any firearm, includinga MZ, (or bow, crossbow, air rifle, etc) from an out-of-state seller (e.g. Cabela's, Natchez) and have it shipped directly to me. It must be shipped to an FFL dealer here in NJ (of my choice) and I have to paythe FFL dealera fee tohandle the transfer. [:@] (My dealer charges $25.. others charge > $50)
I not sure about a private sale across state lines to NJ. My FFL dealer asked the state about it... they said "you probably should go through an FFL dealer".Guess you'd be rolling the dice on that one. |
