Lemoyne,

Quote from Lane today. "Oh yea, the small tubes hold 110 grains of Blackhorn all the way to the top".

I have been using the larger tubes for the range and in the field.

Would that be the long tube?
That means it would hold about 150 if filled?
Thanks Lee

I would guess that they are the long tube if that is the case. I didn't know there were two sizes of tubes. The tubes i have, have ml graduations on them, and there are 11 marks that end just short of the top. 105g of BH209 is real close to the 7ml mark. One could use the tubes as a measure; i did one day when i lost my measure down in between the seats of the pick-up. The tubes i have hold 3 nosler partition in sabot nearly exactly. Whilst hunting i carry 3 tubes with BH209 in them and one tube with 3 bullet. Works for me.

I did a quick fill and weigh on one of lane's large tubes. 127 grains of blackhorn filled to the top and not tapped down which is approx. 193 grains by volume.

That's a good point. The BH209 tubes from western powder wont hold any way near that.

LOVE the small tubes! Just got 20 small and 20 large in today. The small tubes hold my 80gr RS charge perfectly. Its great to get the right size tubes so you can get a little more room in the 'ol possibles bag.
