How would you like to buy Bullets?
Now a days buying bullets isnt so cheap. Ecspecially if you like pretty polymer tips on them. I wish everything was as easy as XTP'S. 100 bullets for around $16.00 bucks. Not bad at all and yes they work on game trust me. I think Cecil at prbullet has the best way. Packages of 12 bullets. That lets you buy a variety of different weights and sizes to try in your Muzzleloader. We all know what works in one ML doesnt always work in the next. Most of the time a different sabot will correct that. I wish all bullet companies would loose the sabots. I dont trust the bullet companies on what sabot i'm getting. I learned along time ago to toss them as soon as i get them. To me 12 is the number with an option to buy in bulk when you find the right bullet for you and your Muzzleloader.

I havent had the chance to use my rifle on any game yet but I shoot cheap at the range (T7, bulk .451 JHP, bulk sabots). Iplan on using BH209 & Barnes TMZ on this years hunt. I have gone through one 10oz can so far and have another stashed for hunting season.

It would be okay to purchase the 12 packs with Sabots and the bulk bullets without sabots. That way if you are new to the sport you can grab a few types of bullets and try them out. When you are more knowledgeble and you are set on a bullet, it would be nice to be able to buy them bulk without sabots.

Not using the 250 SSt was a very good choice. The hard tips are better then the flex tipped bullets. The TMZ will do a little better but not much. If you dont shoot long range i would use a 250grn XTP or a 275grn Parker BE for all around long or short range.I think Lehigh will be the one to beat butno in the field results in a ML yet for me.
