Scope report
I tested the scope I bought at cabelas (pine ridge) 250 bdc retical it was on sale from 119.99 to 69.99.I looked at this scope before, and it read, set with 300 grain bullet 150 grain powder.About a month later it read, set with 250 grain bullet 150 grain powder. All this via internet. So it came in the mail and read set with 300 grain bullet 150 grain powder.
I struggled all day trying to get sighted in nothing would really pattern. I started with 250 sw 120 grain pyrodex, then bumped it up 130,140,150
nothing to right home about, i really got the feeling this thing is no good
the only difference is the super glide shockwaves was new to this gun.
Next i tryed hornaday 45-300 gr sst and 150 gr Jim shockys gold. The gun
came alive after that.
50 degrees
wind left to right 10-15
Swabbed with T17 seasoning patches both sides, then dry patch both sides, between each shot.
Shooting of a bench with barrel rested offhomemade rest.Seat built to low to ground.(public range)
The first target was at hundred yards, group 1, top two where first two shots at target with new load, took the secound one to make sure it held 0
Then moved the scope down and shot lower one.To check and see if it would move.Adjusted and shotthe 3 shot group in the middle.
Then i moved down to 225 yard range got two shots off,and the range master yelled ,cease fire.It was closing time
The wind was coming thru a little harder on the 225.
All and all the scope so far was a steal, the eye reliefis goodi think a 4.
It held up to what it said it would do.I would buy another one.
The reticals are little lines, which i do like better than the circles.
They are set at 100,150,200,250 on the 225 yard range i held right in between 200 and 250.Just a plain jane matte finish scope.

RE: Scope report
Sometimes these inexpensive scopes will surprise you. I have bought a lot of inexpensive scopes and so far, only one had to go back to the company. That is some good shooting. And with the wind the way it was... that 225 yard group was expected. So it looks like you did real well.
