The Remington is not really a Remington actually. It is a name that was purchased to put on the rifle. The rifles come from Spain through Traditions Firearms Company. Traditions sells or used to sell the same rifle under the name of Yukon.

I own a Remington and am very pleased with the way it has performed and the accuracy and dependability it has demonstrated so far, but I will not kid myself and compare it to a Knight rifle for quality. Knights have Timney triggers, Green Mountain Barrels, and are excellent in their fit and finish. Granted, my Remington is well made and fit to finish is excellent. But twenty years down the road, if parts were needed, I would hate to guess who might still be around with parts.

If the trigger is not right, I would send it back to Knight and ask them to fix it.

it,s really not a bad trigger just a little heavy, little creepy, little overtravel.I gave it a poormans trigger job by putting a softener between hammer and firing pin and dry firing 200+ times.that helped quite a bit.
