Howdy fellers!
It's been awhile, but I see alot of the same guys are still here.
I am still shooting the Lyman Trade Rifle, but got bored silly with my KRB and sold it to a gent down the road who is a Muzzle loading nut. he had some TCs and a couple of CVAs and Knight Vision, but no KRB. I was able to get all thatI paid and some .50 homecast minies ( 100 of 'em) from him for it. He's happy, ....I'm happy. fair trade.



I recently talked to a gentleman in Crestview, Florida (way up north from where I live) who has a Dixie Gunworks Lancaster flinter rifle kit he's selling. $500 firm.
I went to the Dixie Gunworks site and couldn't find it. it may be a discontinued item.
Has anyone dealt with the Dixie kits? Anyone seen a Lancaster from Dixie?

To hear him tell it, it's basically a Pennsylvania rifle with foofoo stuff on it. Ya know, brass this, and brass that. Fancy scrollwork patchbox and such.
Anyone?
