I paid $89.00 for that rifle, new. And it sure has been a good shooting rifle. I did go all out and put a $39.00 Simmons Pro Diamond scope on it through..

Well I get them new trigger screws and get it all back to new condition it shoud be fine again. I like shooting the rifle. I never shoot more then 90 grains with it normally. But it will shoot about anything I stick down the barrel very well. Mine also shoots Shockwaves well.

I received My (Replacement) ACCURA as promised from Mark at CVA today, sent in the one in need of repair last Thursday, and today the new one arrived, one week total, not bad.

When i ordered my 209 conversion kit, well i had my wife order it while i was at work cause i was busy that
day they refused to sell it to her before they knew the year of the gun because of the recall. So she had to call me and i had to tell her where it was, which row, color, blah, blah, blah by the the time i got done with her i could
have called them 5 times. But the point of the story is they at least cared that it could have been bad.

Ron -

CVA declined to providespecificationsor to rate their barrells.
Instead theyrecommendedthat I use the following sabot in my gun.

Cabela's has them for$22 at 15 count. Reviewsread well.
http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0049036216422a.shtml

The one we recommend is the slick load sabot

Slick-Load™Sabots
AC1563 -.50 cal., 250 Grain
AC1564 -.50 cal., 300 Grain
15 Pack $27.95
Horizontal flutes make it the easiest loading sabot and provide a better gas seal while holding the sabot securely in the barrel.
