Thought id inform you krb7 shooters that i just called knight customer sevice and asked if the new breech plug was available yet for shooting black horn 209.they told me it was just tested in the field with success over the weekend...i asked where i could get my hands on one....they took my name and address and said they would send me one in the mail.give them a call

Well that's great news... I know these guns have been shooting some tight groups.

Knight makes excellant guns I hope they get that breach plug design down pat now. TC needs some decent compitition to keep them on there toes. Lee

Yea,theirs no doubt these guns are shooters,i just want to try a couple new loads out with the bh 209.

I called customer service and they indicated that they are working on the problem but definately do not have any breechplug availble for sale or in production at this time. Indication is that it may be available in early spring if all works out OK. Save your phone bill as the wait for customer service is over 15 minutes.

ml keith when i called customer service and asked about the new breechplug they connected me with a tech.when i asked if the new breechplug was available yet, to shoot bh.209 he said he had tested a new product in the field with success.i asked him where could i get my hands on one ,he took my name and address and said he would mail me one.i would never post anything on here if it wasnt true.

Apparently Knight is just like all the other manufacturers; none of the people in the Technical area talk to each other and no one knows what is going on in the next cubical. Hope you get one and it works. I guess I should have asked what the name was of the tech that seems to have a hold on a working breechplug. The tech I talked with was quite polite but insisted that Knight did not have a breechplug yet and would not release one until they were in production.
