Price for 777 powder?
 

Just got back from Walmart, and the 777 loose powder is down to $15 jug. They have about 12 left. Is this a good price, or should I wait to see if they go down more? The Pyrodex powder is $9 a jug. They had about 6 or so of those left. The new Hornaday FPB's were $15. Thought about picking some of those up, but they still had alot of those left too, and they dont seem to be going very fast.

they will drop it to $10. Problem is that when they do that Cayugad will buy every jug in the place. So buy a few of the $15 while ya can. Regular price around here is $20, so your saving only $5.

$15 is an OK price but many will buy it at that price so keep an eye on it so you can grab some if it starts going quick. Walmart adjusts prices on Thursday's around most of the country so that is the day to check them out. Around here they dropped the FPB's to $9 this week, therewere a dozen or so packs on the rack when I checked yesterday. I bought 3 packs at $9 to replace the ones I've shot already but am waiting to see if they go downagain before getting some more.

I checked and our Wal Mart is not lowering the price. They were a lot more cooperative before they added on all that space and became a super wal mart.

Yep, I knew about Thursdays being mark down day.[8D]I was there laast week on Wednesday evening, and while I was standing there looking at the hunting stuff, one of the accociates came up and asked if I needed any help. I told him I was just checking out the hunting stuff, and he told me that if I wait about 10 - 15 minutes, everything in the hunting isle would be $2 cheaper.:DI thought that was very nice of him. Unfortunatly, things were not cheap enoough yet, so I will keep checking back on Thursdays.
