FPB in T/C Renegade????????

Picked up some Hornady FPB at wal-mart today on sale. Anybody here tried them in a renegade or hawken? What kind of charge would you recommend using FFG black powder? Using the 350 grain bullet what kind of trajectory should I expect?

If you try them, keep is posted how they work. I would start with 80 grains of powder and see how they shoot. This will be real interesting.

I got 1 more day of deer season left, so hopefully I'll be getting to the range next week to try them out.

They shoot reasonably well in mine with 90 gr of P. I believe they are actually designed for a 1-28 twist but a lot of the better conicals will do a decent job in a Renegade. Lee

They shot very well for me with 100 gr. of 2f 777. 4" high at 100 yd;Topof the bead at 150 yd.; 16" low at 200 yd.

I couldn't get'em to fly well out of my Endeavor. Felt alittle weird shoving a plain old bullet down the bore too [:o]
