looking to buy a black powder rifle

I finally talked my dad into coming hunting with me. And he would like to use a black powder rifle. My question would be what is the best rifle for the money as this rifle would most likely be used for only one season, as I bow hunt, and my dad is getting old. Any and all help is most appreciated.

Maybe look into one of the Bass Pro or Cabelas brand m/l's. CVA's are also reasonably priced and some say they shoot pretty good.

bass-pro has CVA mag-bolt 150 for$200.00,that includes everthing except powder.
I have one and my wife has one,there a good gun for the price.
good luck,and hope it will be used by your father for many years.
