The Mountain Men
 
Someone mentioned "The Mountain Men" movie the other day so I had a chance tonight to pull the DVD out of the closet and watch it again. Great movie... some cheesy parts and the music is a bit too "romantic" but still a great movie considering what else is out there. It sits on my DVD rack right next to Jeremiah Johnson.

Another great Charlton Heston movie that is a MUST SEE is "The Mother Lode". It is NOT on DVD as of yet and I have been waiting for years, but it is on VHS. I watched it the day it hit the theaters in about 1982 and its one of my favorite all time movies.

Winter is a wonderful time to watch movies and read books.

I agree.. when it is cold and nasty outside, and nothing good on the normal tube, then a movie is a good thing. Sit in a warm house and relax.
