That .58 caliber is a powerful caliber. I shoot 110 grains of Goex 2f and a .570 patch ball out of my Green Mountian Barrel with a 1-70 twist. I think you might have a new elk rifle there... keep us posted. Its looking good.

Woke up this morning and the barrel had a very fine coating of rust on it. About to apply #2 coat and let it sit all night. So far i like what i see
