Triumph scope choice

I just made a post under the optics section; but I'm looking at Bush 3200 Elite (firefly ret), Nikon Prostaff, Nikon Team Primos, or Nikon Omega----all 3X9x40. I also have a Bush Trophy on my Marlin 30/30. Should I take it and put it on my Triumph and rescope my 30/30. Should I just buy a new scope for the Triumph as the optics are probably better and rescope the Marlin at a later time? Decision, decisions---DrAsus

I love my Triumph and Nikon Omega combination, I have had several scopes on the Triumph and also on my Omega but with BH209 and the Triumph to work with it takes the Nikon Omega to get the best out of it at long range.
I you only shoot short range the any thing with the eye relief and capability of handling the recoil will do. Lee

I've got 3 Bushnell Elite 3200s and a Nikon Prostaff. They're both good scopes,,but I'll take the 3200s over the Prostaff any day.

I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 2-7x32mm with firefly on my White M97 and it has good points and bad points. First the scope glass is top quality. The light gathering is top quality. BUT because of the firefly, the thick part of the cross hairs are thick... Now the rest of the inner cross hairs are fine. Also when you hit it with a flashlight it will glow green for a number of minutes. And the 2-7 power seems all that I need necessary. I like the scope. I got a good price on it. And I think its kind of cool how they glow at dusk. I am sure it would make a difference in the shadows if I had to take a shot. Yet, I am not sure I would get another UNLESS I got as good a deal on another as I did on this one.

Totally agree - they were to thick for me - covered up way to much in the field of view... Sold mine....

Trying to understand.....Are you saying the Firefly reticle are too thick? Should I just get regular crosshairs? --drasus

Yes. The fire-fly reticle is too thick.
