Nikon Omega or Prostaff for Muzzleloader?

What does the Omega give you that the Prostaff does not?

Also I don't know if I will like the BDC setup and that is the only Omega scope that I saw, when I was at BPS

i had both scopes at one time I like the omega better just for the eye relief factor, 5" if I remember correct. Prostaff was very good also though.

What do you guys suggest for rings and bases?

If I might make a suggestion... go with the new Leupold Ultimate Slam scope. It has a ballistic reticule but is not locked in for a certain bullet at a certain range.

I think that most like the quick detach rings and bases - I am still to old fashioned - I like the fixed mounts.

What rifle did you end up getting?

I did a quick look but couldn't tell....how is it that you are supposed to be able to adjust for different loads?
