Am cosidering a NE shotgun in 12 bore with screw in chokes.How do these pattern and are the screwin chokes original from the get go?Harold

Mine patterns pretty good actually. I shoot 80 grains of APP 2f, then an over the powder card. Then I like to put a wad cup down the bore and an equal amount of shot from another wad cup. After that I like to put two over the shot cards on the shot to hold every thing down.

Out to 25 yards, it works real good on grouse, rabbits, etc. The only bad part is you have to take the choke OUT to put the wad down. If you do not use the wad, you can load through the choke..

I wonder what the plain barrel model with a Poly-Choke soldered on would do?Not much for looks..........Harold
