Can you run the table for my load and bullet? I shoot 120 grains BH209 behind a 300 gr harvester scorpion gold...i am shooting it out of a LRH so would like to know what would be reasonable for a 200 yd shot. Thanks in advance if you can do this for me...i appreciate it alot..

Will look into this tonight after work. If you can find the BC of the Harvester that would be good.

http://www.handloads.com/calc/

enter the bullet dia., weight and bullet type,in the box on the left, and the bal. cal. will calculate your BC for you in The box at the top and will give you the ballistics if you enter the velocity.

OK, this web site: http://www.blackhorn209.com/files/pdf/brochure.pdf shows the MV is about 2000 fps for 120g of BH and 300g bullets, BC of .240 and a 3" high sight in at 100 yards gives this.

MV=2000
BC=.240
sight in= 100 yards gives this.

Your MPBR (shooting thru a 6" pipe) from 0 to 145 yardsonly.

A3" high at 100 sight in gives MPRB of 185 yards. If you sight in 3.5" high at 100 that gets you to 3.7" low at 200. Chap

2" high at 100 with .240 BC and 2000 fps gives this table, which show only 4.7" low at 200. I will rerun it with 1800 fps, which may be what your really shooting based on your actual drop.

Your welcome, you need to check these numbers with "actual", since you say your 12" low at 200.

Ok, here is 1800 fps, 300g bullets, .240 bc, 135 yard zero, which is 2.1" high at 100 yardsand 9.7" low at 200, which matches your results. Your MPBR is0 to 160 yards, since 160 yards is 2.8" low.
