RE: Traditions Shenandoah 50 cal.
Well, now that you have spoken with a smith there, perhaps you can actually speak with the guy that "works" on your gun while it is in his hands?
If you want a traditionally styled gun that works, from a company that will fix any issues no questions asked, buy a T/C Hawkens or Renegade. I can vouch for these rifles. |

hopefully Ill get this gun back and wont have any more issues...
but to change the topic a bit,I normally shoot a patched .490 round ball on 100 grains of pyrodex. I wanna start trying some other things, like prelubed conicals, or??? what do you guys suggest for this gun? |

I was under the impression that the Shenandoah has a 1-66 twist. That twist is made for roundball. You might get a ball-et to shoot well, but normally when they have that twist they pretty much shoot roundball..
