Ardesa Hawken Match & Hawken Creedmore
These look to be 2 new types of Hawken with 1 in 20" twists and 32 inch barrels.

very nice looking rifles.. Ardesa is or used to be part of Traditions I believe.. I am not sure if they still are.

RE: Ardesa Hawken Match & Hawken Creedmore
They might still be.. if you go to their site and look at their rifles and then compare them to Traditions.. well they are very close.
|
RE: Ardesa Hawken Match & Hawken Creedmore
They're still making them for Traditions andare licensed to distribute some Traditions guns in Europe.
Someone commented that these will stabilze some looong bullets. A shooter might need a shoulder pad with those curved buttplates though. |
RE: Ardesa Hawken Match & Hawken Creedmore
People shooting with those butt plates often hold them wrong. They treat' em like a centerfire with a rubber recoil pad.

While I think the curved butt stock is cool, you really need to pay attention to where you tuck that rifle in to. It can down right hurt...
