disc extreme, change of path
tried conicals out of the disc extreme. namely powerbelts and FPB's. the powerbelts I have on hand. don't shot while out of it. (going to try 300 gr plats. this summer) FPB's shot great at 100yrds, but hard as hell to load if I second shot is needed.
going to work up an sabot load for it with my two weeks off before late muzzy starts. I have shot 240gr cheapshots out of it to check the scope. 3 touching at 50yrds with 75grs of triple 7. (guess this can be an base line). I have .430 240 xtps, .451 250 xtps, hand ful of 250gr gold dots, 10pk of knight hot shots (barnes). which way should I work? [8D] |
RE: disc extreme, change of path
Well the Barnes should shoot real well out of it. I used to shoot Barnes out of mine. And they did real well. Also the 250 grain Gold Dots should also do real well.

RE: disc extreme, change of path
I was thinking of working it up with the xtp's. do an 4 shot group with the xtp's then try to put the barnes in that group.
I know the gold dots shot just like xtps. I think I can only find 5 laying around. |

[8D] If you were going to shoot a lot with that rifle, then go with the 250 Gold Dots or the 250 XTPs, with a perference toward the Gold dot since they hold together better. Chap |
