Question for Triumph owners.
I read on another forum about people having issues using T7 primers in their Triumphs. Sounds as if they are to long and will not allow the breach to close and lock. Has any one had this trouble? Most who had the issue are using the Remington Kleenbore primers to remedy the problem. Lets hear your thoughts on the issue. Are the Kleenbores a good primer? All I have ever used is T7 primers in my Optima Pro, without a single issue. If they are good primers I will pick up some Friday while out with the wife shopping.
Thanks, Z |
RE: Question for Triumph owners.
They work alright for 777 in the Triumph, but they carbon up right in front of the 209, and they hang fire with Blackhorn. Lee

RE: Question for Triumph owners.
The issue they were having is the breech would not close. The primer is to long and catches on the edge of the breech face.

Did you check for carbon or primer residue in and below the primer pocket? If that's ok make sure your stock to frame screw has not been over torqued. Lee |
RE: Question for Triumph owners.
I have used T7 primers in my Triumph and have never had a problem.
