Rings and bases for Triumph

Can anyone recommend a good set of rings and bases for my new Triumph? I would prefer steel over aluminum and have always used Weaver components in the past with good results. Does Weaver or Leupold make a steel base for the Triumph?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I wait with excitement for the response...I am looking for the same. For the late muzzloader season, I will shoot open sites since I just bought the gun Saturday :-)

Durasights are inexpensive but seem to perform very well. They are an alloy but have the strength and weight that is much like steel. I have them on one of my rifles and my daughters rifle.

BTW, the triumph uses the same base as teh encore.

Well, I picked up a set of Leupold high silver rings and a one piece base - all steel. Very solid setup to say the least.

If anyone needs part numbers give me a shout, Encore base is the same.

Zrider if you have the part #'s that would be great. Has anyone tried the DNZ?

Did you need the high rings? The reason I ask is that I am using medium on everything...

Do not discount the strength of aluminum bases. Anyone that has ever put a hacksaw to a Warne steel base and a Weaver aluminum base can easily tell you why.

I've not owned but have fiddled with the Durasight sets. The base is fine but I don't much care for the QD rings. The fixed rings might be fine.

No experience with the Dednutz stuff - look good though.

I used high rings for my triumph the highest I could get to get hammer clearance med. will work but the triumph has a high comb and there is a definite lack of hammer clearance for your thumb when you try to cock it. Lee
