I just wanted you to know that we really appreciate the updates on your daughters condition. I remember the picture you posted when she came home on leave and it's so sad to see that same young beautiful girl like this.
I told my family about your daughters tragic accidentand we are all praying forher recovery....hang in there!

Is there an address where we can send a card and flowers?

I just talked to Karen
The truama doctor says she is improving faster than expected but dont start jumping for joy yet,we have a long road ahead he said.
The Phisical Therapits was in and did PT on her and the respitory Therapist was in suctioning her and making her cough because of the ribs she needs to breath deep.
She is moving some on her own despite being heavily sedated.
Thanks for the continued prayers.

I have to agree with FG - she's one tough cookie. Not a wimp like you Sax..:D
I to will continue my prayers to give the doctors the knowledge they need and forher and your full recovery.

I just talked to my wife.
They have reduced kelly's med's and she woke up and went through the routine of verbal commands.
She was asked a series of questions and answered yes or no with slight head movement very quickly.
My wife went to her a asked if she felt like she had been hit by a truck?
Kelly lifted her right hand and proceded to flip her off.
I guess her brain is ok.I'll bet that felt good.
She had a high fever last night but it broke this morning.
They may take her of the ventalator tomorrow or the next day so she can breath on her own.
I feel a little better now.

Tough is as tough does!! Our prayers and thoughts are still w/her!! In was in the 82nd, '69 to'71. Good outfit!! Best of luck to her!!
