I have a 54 lyman plains I load PRB and 50 gr I keep my range to 25 to 30 yds Like bow hunting with a muzzleloader. I get 4 inch groups off sand bags with more than enough fps to take a deer.

Not sure I would like the 4" grp at 25 to 30 yards though.

I did not chrno it I don't have the shields to use with black powder. The groups are about the best I got with the sight that come with the gun I even put an a small blade sight on the front. I also use a two hnd hold and shooting sticks. It is just like bow hunting same ranges aim for center mass and shoot. I also like it for a backup shot. As you know each gun is a law unto them selves you could very well get better groups depending on load and bullet. I use PRB and 3f Shockley gold. I have not had time to try 3 f T7 but I would back dow to 40 gr with that load.
