Default Shockwave sabot trim job

Has anyone tried to trim the supplied sabots on the shockwaves to the height of the short black Harvester sabots? If so, what was the result??? Good, bad or indifferent?

Default RE: Shockwave sabot trim job

I read on one of the form's that some one was using a large set of finger nail clippers to trim them , they claimed it worked good. I have not tried it myself yet as I find using different sabots with different bullets works best for me. I use the short black Harvester for SST or SW bullets and the MMP or the one that comes with the SW for Gold Dot bullets as that's the way they group best out of my Triumph. Lee
