Triumph recipe ideas
 

Can you guys give me somerecipes to start within my Triumph??

I realizeall guns will not like the same recipe but I would still appreciate any info for starting points.

An extremly high percent of Triumph's will shoot an 250grSST or Shock Wave bullet with a Short Black Harvester sabot and 100to120 gr of BH209. I have gotten one group that was under a 1/4 inch and a lot of them under3/4 inch.
Another load a 250 Gold Dot with 90 to a 100gr BH209 and a MMP-HPH24 also shoots quite well and has given me bang flops on every deer and boar I shot with it.
The 200 gr Shock Wave is the one that gave me the best results untill I had BH209 to work with using 777 itwas the most accurate highest velocity load I could find. Lee

Try 777 powder 100 gr with Shockwave 250 gr bullet for starters. Use a primer that is specifically designed for inlines. Move up to 110 gr of powderand compare groups. This recipe seems to work out well with alot of Triumph owners. Just clean well between shots.

Blackhorn powder is catching on fast however it is much more expensive than the other powders but burns clean.

My son and I both use this recipe. No sense messing with success.

I believe most Triumphs will shoot plenty good with 100-120 gnv Bh209 and all of the bullets mentioned. Personally I've gotten good results with 110 gnv BH with 250 Shockwaves, SST's, 275 BE Parkers, and my favorite 300gn .458 Remington HP's. I'm going to hunt with the Remington's. I did the final range tuneup a few days ago and they shot consistent 2" groups at 150yds with 110gnv BH and Black Crushed Rib sabots. The Parkers are right up there also. I could shoot any of those three with good confidence.

Thanks for the info guys.... was trying a few recipes with what I had before going out and spending money on something different and found the 250 shockwaves with 100gr ffg 777 and a Win 209 primer work very well in my gun.
