Elite is in Layaway
 

Well, it's official, I put the CVA Elite Compact in layaway approximately 40 minutes ago. I sure hope I did the right thing. One hand had a hold of the TC Omega and the other the Optima Elite. I've agonized over this for some time now.

This will ultimately be a gun for my kid. As he grows and knows more about this firearm, he can add to it all he wants. I sure hope the boy appreciates it. Of course, dear old dad is going have to give it testrunthisdeer season;)

I know the Omega is an awesome gun, and trust me, I wanted to say, "Yes, I'll take one of each please". However, there's just not enough dead presidents in my wallet right now. Feel free to sound off.

i sold my omega and got an optima to take its place. I can use open sights again!!

I am sure you will like it very much. What color combo did you get?

I just got the plain Jane blue barrel with the black speckled stock. It won't win any beauty contest, but as long as it puts deer meat in the freezer and turkey feathers on the wall, that's all I care about.

yup thats exactly right.

Later on you can either buy the camo or black thumbhole stock for it! I think they run under $100
