Any one miss me?

Well guys, I was gone for over a week. Took the wifey down to Florida on her vacation. Now I can go hunting all fall and winter without feeling guilty. And Archery starts on Saturday with early ML coming in shortly.
Looks like I have a lot of posts to catch up on.
Its feels good to be back.

Seems like those choices would be fun than all the fun in Florida - unless you were huntin' thar...

Always a good idea to make the wife happy before hunting season. Glad to see you back.

No gun shops this visit. FL is OK - I definately don't like it as much as the wife. Nothing personal Sax. Lived there for 4 years and missed the mountains too much so moved back to PA. Only thing that I liked were the beaches. Some pretty good sights there - whether they're real or not, it don't matter. A good use for silicon if you ask me.

Well, I do like to visit the mountains. But if I don't get a little salt marsh mud between my toeson a regular basis I start to dry up inside. :D Never had to drag a deer up a steep slope, and never want to.

Semi - The heaviest buck I ever shot was at the bottom of a deep hollow and the only way out was straight up. As I recall I didn't get home until around 10:00 pm. No wonder I always saw lots of deer down there. I was the only one crazy enough to shoot one there. And my friend has a bad habit of shooting deer and they always run into a hole somewhere. (we hunt a lot in the strip mines of PA). We've learned to bring a long rope with us now in our pack.
