new CVA on the way
I just couldn't resist
I am a member of sportsmans guide club and saw the CVA Kodiak Pro 45 cal SS/Realtree HD camo/29" fluted barell and had to have it. I guess I could have purchased a 45 cal barell for the Encore but it would have cost as much or more than the CVA on sale Now I have another gun so I can take a friend or someone new to the sport and we can hunt together. When I shot my 45 percussion I really liked it and I have read great things about the Ballistics of the 45 plus the price was just to good to pass up. Cant have to many, right? It was $214 out the door |
RE: new CVA on the way
:D i expected this from cayugad but not you!
Sounds like it will be a fun shooter. I was looking at the .45 Accura in the bass pro book. 45's are really fun rifles to shoot. I'll have to pick one up again some time. |

RE: new CVA on the way
That accura is a real beauty
|
RE: new CVA on the way
I have no need for a CVA in .45 caliber, but it will be exciting to learn and see the range results...
|
RE: new CVA on the way
FG, hurry and get one.
i can't, murphy is in full visit with me. |
RE: new CVA on the way
This will be a nice gun for my kids to shoot when they go with me.
Mostly my soon to be 13 year old shadow, she goes wherever I go and when with me she has no fear and will try anything. She shoots the crossbow better than I do. I'll bet she claims this one as hers as soon as it comes in. |
RE: new CVA on the way
:D that will be a good gun for her too. fairly light, should fit her nicely.

RE: new CVA on the way
Get some harvester Crush Ribs for .45 for .40 cal bullets. They sot the 200Sw great and load real easy.
|
RE: new CVA on the way
I know that nothing has more choices than the 50 cal as far as bulletts but I am reading more and more about the effictiveness and versatility of the new 45's
I cant wait |

I think I would really like to have a 45 also, but out west they are not a legal for hunting (unless you shoot a full bore conical),So the 50's will have to work for me... |
RE: new CVA on the way
Actually a .45 is legal in Arizona and I think we are "out west". I know that several western states do limit to .50 but not Arizona. I do have one .451 White although I hunt with a .50 so far (when I can get drawn that is - not this year).

Sorry about that I forgot about Arizona... probably should have limited that to the Pacific Northwest and a few other states around us. |
