RE: Barrel Lubricant?

My process is,.. after cleaning to pour very hot water down bore, dry patch till completely dry. Then while barrel is still hot/warm.patch with a good amount of Ballistol.Let sit for 10-15 min.allowing pore absorbsion. Then I dry patch well then run alight coat of Barracade.Don't know if that's the reason I've never experienced crud ring or not.But I have no corrosion in any of my gun.s,and they seem to clean so much easier than my buddies.Google Ballistol ,it is amazing stuff, with loads of applications.Btw,I shoot 777.Just another slant on prevention that has served me well. hunt4me

RE: Barrel Lubricant?

I use CLP or Rem oil. I use a patch withZippo lighter fluid to remove the oil before I start shooting.

RE: Barrel Lubricant?

I do not put a petroleum product in a dirty bore. I clean first then use rem oil to preserve.
