idea with bh209 and primers
my recient groups with 120gr by volume were good, i suspect that they my get tighter with 110gr. what concerns me is the loss of velocity. i had been shooting win209 primers. do you think by switching to the hotter cci209m that i would gain a bit of the lost velocity by reducing the powder charge?
i read that round balls were shot out of a .32 rifletest what effectsprimershave on on the overall velocity whenkeepingthe powder charge the same. the cci209m had quite a bit more effect. |
RE: idea with bh209 and primers
Dropping 10 grains of BH209 would really not be a big concern. 110 grains is plenty for ANYTHING you want to hunt.
