Hornady
Well, I ended up buying the Hornady SST Easy Load 300 gr. and Powerbelt Platnum 300 gr. I hope one will fly good enough for 100 yards out of my KRB.

RE: Hornady
You should find something.
80-90-100-110 with the 300gr platinum. Triple 7 or pyrodex? |
RE: Hornady
I have T7 but Dad's bringing Shokey Gold and Pyrodex, so I will hae all 3 to play with.

RE: Hornady
Hornady's shoot great from my KRB with 80 to 100 gr T7.
PB's will never touch the barrel:) Steve |
RE: Hornady
Thanks Steve! Great to hear!!;)Have you had any miss cue's with your KRB?

Those PB's are an excellant varmit bullet with a 1650+ feet per second, I like the 245 with with 150 gr RS or 120 gr BH209 for coyote in the woods, opens them up like an M80 in a beer can. Lee |
RE: Hornady
No issues with the KRB - other then not being able to try BH209.
Lee - I'm sure they work for that, but I can get lots of varmit bullets for way less than over $1 each. Steve |
RE: Hornady
Steve has the rifle formerly known as UC's. There will be no miscues. :D ;)
I just suckered in for 5 jugs of that fancy powder. [:-] |

Lee I've proven it already that deer and any other game can be taken with a Powerbelt bullet EASILY! i've even shot deer with that mightly 245 and 150 grains loose powder. Of course i was shooting long distance and not an eastern 30 yard shot. The 270's i shot did great with 100 grains SELECT, the 300's should be able to handle about 120. Have not tested the 300's out yet. |
RE: Hornady
Are you SURE you don't have a vested interest? Othewise, you might consider a 12-step program. :D
